Aly Goni Reacts to Backlash For Calling Jasmin Bhasin 'Chapri'; Here's What He Said

Aly Goni has recently faced intense trolling for jokingly referring to Jasmin Bhasin as ‘chapri', now, he has responded to the criticism. He took to his Instagram and re-shared a post from a paparazzi account. The post's headline read, “Jasly calls each other chhapri, internet thrashes them for their ‘chhapri' game, says ‘It's not funny.'"

In response, Aly tagged Jasmin and wrote, “It's not funny," adding several laughing emojis. Jasmin also re-shared the post, commenting, “But it was supposed to be funny."

Why Was Aly Goni Called A ‘Red Flag'?

Recently, Aly took to his Instagram stories and shared an old picture of Jasmin in which she was seen posing in a white crop-top and jeans. Sharing the photo, Aly asked, “Kya Jasmin chapri hai (Is Jasmin tacky)" and dropped a laughing emoji. Jasmin also shared a sketch of Aly and wrote, “Kya Aly chapri hai (Is Aly tacky)".

Even though Aly was having a fun banter with his ladylove on social media, the “chapri" comment did not go down well with the netizens. Several users rushed to Reddit and called out the actor, expressing disappointment with his words. While some bashed him for disrespecting his girlfriend on a public platform, others went on to call the actor a “red flag".

“Who posts like this for your girlfriend, man?" one of the users wrote. “Bruh this guy is such a red flag it is unreal," added another. One of the netizens also called them “a weird couple". “They both are d**b actually, it's not even funny but still Jasmin posted a sketch of him but Aly posting this picture gives me eww," wrote another.
