Abdu Rozik's Team Refutes Theft Allegations After Confirming Detention: "We Will Take All Legal Action...'

Social media sensation Abdu Rozik was detained at the Dubai International Airport early Saturday morning, his management company confirmed to Khaleej Times. He was reportedly detained by authorities around 5 am, shortly after landing in Dubai from Montenegro.

While the exact nature of the complaint remains under wraps, a representative from Rozik's team issued a statement after the arrest. It read, “All we can say is that we are aware he has been taken into custody on allegations of theft." They declined to elaborate further, and no official statement has yet been issued by the Dubai authorities.

And now, his team has alleged that he was not arrested. Rozik's management issued a clarification to The Khaleej Times, strongly denying the rumours. “First of all, he was not arrested—he was only detained by the police. Abdu Rozik explained and was released. He will be attending the award ceremony in Dubai today."

A spokesperson for the S-Line Project, which handles Rozik's professional affairs, further said, “Secondly, information in the media is not correct. We will take all legal action to protect Abdu Rozik and his image. Also, we will provide you with all the information later on to inform the Indian people. Believe us, we have a lot to say regarding this issue."

This isn't the first time Rozik has found himself embroiled in controversy. Last year, he was questioned by India's Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case involving a hospitality firm. While Rozik was not named as an accused, the incident made headlines across Indian media.

Soon after the news surfaced, Abdu Rozik shared an update on Instagram Stories and later uploaded videos from the award function. One of the clips featured him with his 'Bigg Boss 16' co-contestant and close friend, Shiv Thakare.

He was last seen on 'Laughter Chefs: Entertainment Unlimited Season 2', hosted by Bharti Singh, where he was paired with YouTuber Elvish Yadav. His quirky one-liners and on-screen chemistry with Elvish won hearts, but he exited the show mid-way during Ramadan, citing a short trip to Dubai. He was later replaced by Karan Kundrra.
