In the latest video, travel influencer Isa Khan shared his unforgettable experience at Mt. Ijen in East Java, Indonesia. The trek starts at midnight to see the famous Blue Fire. With a wind filled with toxic sulfur, a gas mask is needed. It is a 3 km hike to the crater, followed by a steep descent to the source of mysterious flames.

Cold and Climbing

At 1 AM, the temperature was cold. But when Isa began to hike, his jacket made him sweat due to the effort. The steep trail burned his legs, but the cold air on his face helped him push through. The journey was not easy, but the excitement kept him moving forward.

The Descent to the Blue Fire

When they reached the top, it was still dark, and the sunrise had not yet arrived. Isa's guide told him they had to hurry down to the crater to see the blue fire before dawn. They picked up the speed, but the descent was rough. As they got closer, thick smoke surrounded them, and sulfur burned their throats, making them difficult to breathe.
