- The comedian's feud with Samay Raina continues
Comedian Sunil Pal has once again made headlines for his ongoing feud with comedian and content creator Samay Raina. Speaking to paparazzi in Mumbai on Thursday, Pal claimed that he was recently approached to be a part of the second season of Samay's controversial show, 'India's Got Latent', but chose to decline the offer despite being promised a hefty payment.
“Main Gaali Nahi Dunga”: Sunil Pal Reveals Why He Said No
According to Sunil Pal, Samay Raina personally reached out to invite him to appear on 'India's Got Latent 2'. However, Pal alleged that he refused because he was uncomfortable with the style of content associated with the show.
“Usne baat ki toh Rs 25 lakh dene ki, lekin maine kaha, ‘Main gaali nahi dunga.' Usne kaha, ‘Aap mat dena, lekin baaki sab toh…,” he said.
The statement has reignited discussions around the show's use of explicit language, which has remained a point of criticism for Pal since the first season.
A Long-Running Disagreement:
Sunil Pal and Samay Raina have been at odds for quite some time. Their public clash began in 2025 when Pal openly criticised the content featured on the original edition of 'India's Got Latent', which streamed on YouTube.

Expressing strong disapproval of the show's format and language, Pal had told IANS, “Do not call them stand-up comedians. That would be an insult to real stand-up comedy. They are uneducated individuals who should be treated like terrorists."
He further added, “Our youth are striving to be responsible and cultured individuals from respectable families. However, these so-called comedians are invited to public platforms where they indulge in vulgarity and offensive language. And the irony is that the organizers of these events are well-educated people. Instead of conveying meaningful messages, they are promoting obscenity."
Samay Raina Hit Back:
Samay did not stay silent. During his 'Still Alive' act, he responded to Pal's criticism and described him as “insecure” and “frustrated”.
Recalling an earlier interaction, Samay said that Pal had advised him to follow Kapil Sharma's style of comedy. Responding to that advice, he remarked, “Kapil Sharma khud agle episode mein aa rahe the. Kapil Sharma khud message kar rahe the mujhe, ‘love your show'."
Feud Continues Despite Reunion:
Interestingly, the two comedians crossed paths again earlier this year on Kapil Sharma's Netflix show. While their appearance together sparked curiosity among fans, the reunion did little to end their differences, as both continued taking subtle digs at each other.
With Sunil Pal now claiming he rejected a Rs 25 lakh offer to appear on 'India's Got Latent 2', the ongoing rivalry between the two comedians appears far from over.
