Siddharth Nigam Talks About His Difficult Childhood

Siddharth Nigam opened up about the struggles his family faced after losing his father at a young age. Speaking on the Yuvaa podcast, the actor shared that his mother became a single parent and worked very hard to take care of the family.

He revealed that his mother started a small beauty parlour where she worked for almost 12 to 13 hours every day. She offered services like eyebrow threading and facials at very low prices and earned around Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month. Siddharth said his mother's journey as a single parent was extremely difficult, but she never gave up and continued working hard for her children.

First Acting Opportunity Changed Everything

The actor then recalled how his life changed after he got his first advertisement at the age of 10. He shared that the makers selected him for the ad, and he received his first payment of Rs 50,000.

Soon after that, Siddharth got an opportunity to work in the movie Dhoom 3. He remembered being shocked when the makers offered him Rs 15 lakh for the project.

Siddharth revealed that his family could not believe such a huge amount at that time. He jokingly told his mother that her son was now going to become a star.

Mother Quit Her Job For Siddharth's Career

Later, Siddharth shared that because he was very young, his mother had to travel with him to Chicago for the shoot of Dhoom 3. Due to this, she decided to leave her beauty parlour job.

The actor said that Rs 15 lakh was an amount his mother felt she would not have been able to earn even after working for five years. That moment made the family realise that acting could completely change their future.

Siddharth's emotional story touched many fans and showed the hard work and sacrifices behind his success.
