Shoaib Ibrahim Opens Up About Financial Troubles; Shares Why His Restaurant Plan Is On Hold

YouTuber and actor Shoaib Ibrahim has opened up about a long-cherished dream that is yet to become a reality. In a recent vlog, the actor shared that he and his family have been planning to launch a restaurant for quite some time. However, financial challenges over the past few months have forced them to put the project on hold.

Restaurant Dream:

Shoaib revealed that the idea of opening a restaurant was never just a casual thought. He and his family had invested significant time in discussing every aspect of the venture, from the menu and interiors to even the restaurant's name. Sharing his vision, Shoaib said, “My thought was that I want to open a restaurant, but I want to keep it very limited. I don't want to have too many things on the menu.”

Unlike conventional eateries with extensive offerings, Shoaib wanted the restaurant to focus on a handful of dishes that have been prepared in his family for years. According to him, the concept was to bring authentic home-style recipes to customers rather than chasing variety.

Concept And Planning:

The actor also disclosed that the family had shortlisted a name and worked extensively on the concept. “We had thought about it and even decided on a name, something like ‘Bawarchi Khana' or something along those lines,” he revealed. Initially, the plan was to operate the restaurant as a takeaway-only outlet. Shoaib explained that the team wanted to avoid the complexities of managing a dine-in space in the beginning.

“Initially, our plan was to make it takeaway-only. We didn't want to have seating. But if we do seating, then we will change the concept and add a few other things,” he said.

Financial Challenges:

Despite the detailed planning, financial difficulties prevented the project from moving forward. Shoaib admitted that his finances have experienced fluctuations in recent months, making it difficult to proceed with the investment required for the venture. “A little bit of financial things have also been going up and down. You know what all has happened in the last two-four months. But Inshallah, we will do it. This is hot,” he said.

While the restaurant remains on hold for now, Shoaib appeared optimistic about eventually bringing the idea to life.

In the same vlog, Shoaib also shared glimpses of wife Dipika Kakar's transformation after her diet and weight-loss journey. Usually seen in traditional outfits, Dipika sported a black top, navy blue jeans, and a stylish stole. Shoaib praised her appearance and remarked that her new look reminded him of how she looked five to six years ago.
