- Shalin calls remarriage rumours "false"
- Warns paparazzi page of legal action
- Slams spread of unverified viral claims
Shalin Bhanot has strongly reacted to a viral post claiming he was planning to remarry his ex-wife, Dalljiet Kaur. Calling the news completely fabricated, he publicly warned a paparazzi page and demanded immediate action. The controversy started after the page shared a video of him attending the screening of 'Main Vaapas Aaunga', along with a caption suggesting a second wedding was on the cards.
Shalin did not stay silent and addressed the issue directly in the comments section, writing, “This is absolutely FALSE and completely fabricated news. As a media page, you have a professional responsibility to verify facts before spreading absolute lies about someone's personal life just for views. Delete this post immediately and issue an official apology post on your page for spreading misinformation. Consider this a warning: Failing to comply will leave me with no choice but to initiate strict legal action against you and your company."
Ongoing Frustration With Rumours:
This isn't the first time such speculation has surfaced. Shalin recently opened up about repeated rumours surrounding his personal life during a conversation on Paras Chhabra's podcast. He shared how quickly unverified claims gain traction online, often turning into widely accepted narratives.

“I love the media; they give me all the entertainment in life. Paparazzi's job is for a few seconds; they cannot get into moral science, or else they will miss the moment. They love me, and I love them. It's their job to bring out the spiciest interpretation of what they hear or see. But suddenly, some people put up something randomly; 70-80 percent of times it's a fan interpretation that becomes a story and gets picked. They don't even know the authenticity, but it's the first mover advantage,” he said.
Misinformation in the Spotlight:
Shalin also pointed out that marriage rumours have become a recurring pattern, highlighting the need for accountability in digital content. His stern response underlines a larger issue of misinformation on social media, especially when it involves personal lives.
With his latest statement and warning of legal action, Shalin has made it clear that he will not let false narratives go unchecked, sending a strong message about responsible reporting in the digital age.
