Rubina Dilaik took to her Instagram today to speak about the ongoing crisis in Himachal Pradesh. Expressing her concern over the current situation, she said, “Bohot se logo ne mujhe comment kiya hai ki aap Himachal ke bare mein kuch post kyu nahi kar rahi, kitni tabahi ho rahi hai waha par, baarish ki wajah se, itne saare landslides, paide gir rahe hai, connection completely jaa chuka hai, sadke beh rahi hai.” (So many people have asked me why I am not posting about Himachal, despite the heavy destruction caused by rains, landslides, fallen trees, lost connections, and washed away roads.)
Rubina Dilaik on Himachal Floods:
She added, “Mere pass genuinely kehene ke liye kuch nahi hai. Kudarat ke aage koi kuch nahi kar paega. Pichle 4 dino se mera khud ka Parivar humare farm house par meri beetiyan hai, mere mata pita hai, meri daadi hai. Unke pass pichle 3 dino se electricity nahi hai, cellular network nahi hai, pani ka source joh hai who flood ho gaya hai. So yes, we are safe par jiss paristithi se bhi sab log guzar rahe hai usme sirf aur sirf hum pray hi kar sakte hai.” (She explained that her own family has been living without electricity, network, or water supply for days, and while they are safe, prayers are the only thing people can hold on to right now.)
"I Understand the Pain and Struggles..."
She continued, “Yaha ghar baithe baithe humesha chinta rehti hai. Pichle 2 hafto se mein aur Abhinav apni flights schedule kar rahe hai par hume mauka hi nahi mil raha. Kabhi landslide ho raha hai. Mein joh 15 din pehle gayi thi tabhi landslide situation mein phass gayi thi. Toh mein samajh sakti hu Himachal mein, in fact Punjab mein joh abhi situation hai usmein bohot saare log bohot si dikaton ke saath ji rahe hai, aur hum, mein khass karke bhagwan se sirf itni hi prarthana kar sakti hu ke sabhi ko surakshit rakhe.” (She shared how she and her husband Abhinav have been trying to fly to Himachal for two weeks but flights keep getting disrupted due to landslides. Having experienced it herself just 15 days ago, Rubina said she completely understands the pain and struggles of those living in Himachal and Punjab.)

"Sending My Prayers to All The Affected Families"
She ended with, “Abhi sirf sabhi ke liye yahi meri prayer hai aur social media ke medium se agar koi funds raise karne hai ya phir kise madat ki zaroorat hai woh mein zaroor kar sakti hu, lekin mein sirf aur sirf aapse yahi share karna chahungi ki mein aur mera parivaar bhi iss situation se jee raha hai and I'm just praying to god that we all come out from this natural calamity, stronger and sabhi safe rahe. That's all I have to say. Sending all my prayers and love to all the affected families.” (She concluded by saying her only wish is for everyone to remain safe, and assured that she is willing to extend help through social media if there is a need for funds or support.)
Current Situation in Himachal Pradesh:
Himachal Pradesh continues to struggle under relentless monsoon rains. Since June 20, over 320 people have lost their lives, and damage has crossed ₹3 lakh crore, leading the state government to declare Himachal a disaster-hit area. August saw 68% more rainfall than normal, marking the highest such August since 1949. The monsoon has led to landslides, flash floods, collapsing houses, and roadblocks—1,337 roads, including several national highways, are currently blocked. Five people recently perished in house collapses in Mandi and its surroundings. The Supreme Court has issued notices over illegal deforestation, likely worsening the floods and landslides. In Shimla district alone, losses amount to ₹80 crore, with damage to roads, bridges, and over 80,000 apple boxes stuck or destroyed.
