Rakhi Sawant Slams Shehzad Poonawalla's 'Gold Digger' Remark On Priyanka Chahar Choudhary

Rakhi Sawant brought her trademark humour and outspoken personality to 'Rise and Fall 2' during a special appearance on the reality show. The actress came out in support of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary after fellow contestant Shehzad Poonawalla referred to her as a “gold digger” during a recent argument.

While addressing the controversy, Rakhi questioned Shehzad's remark and defended Priyanka with a series of sarcastic comments that quickly grabbed attention.

Rakhi Questions Shehzad's Remark:

During her interaction with the contestants, Rakhi directly addressed Shehzad and challenged his description of Priyanka. She said, “First, let me say this. You called our Naagin, Ichchhadhari Naagin Priyanka, a gold digger. Why? Why? You said something very wrong. I want an answer to that. She is absolutely not a gold digger. She is a copper digger. She is a Nagmani digger. She looks for the cheapest things.”

Her comments added a humorous twist to the ongoing disagreement while making it clear that she did not agree with the label used against Priyanka.

Rakhi's Humorous Comeback:

Rakhi did not stop there. Turning the spotlight on Shehzad, she jokingly questioned him about his own personality. “What kind of digger are you? Grave digger,” she said.

She continued with another dramatic remark, adding, “Look at the answer. You people get together. That is exactly what we want to do.” The light-hearted exchange became one of the standout moments from Rakhi's appearance on the show, reflecting her signature style of handling tense situations with humour and sarcasm.

Priyanka And Shehzad's Argument:

The controversy stems from a recent clash between Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Shehzad Poonawalla on 'Rise and Fall 2'. During the heated argument, Priyanka called Shehzad a “man child,” prompting him to respond by calling her a “gold digger.” The remark deeply affected Priyanka, who later shared her feelings during a conversation with Swara.

“Kal gold digger bol ke gaya. Meri raat poori raat mere dimaag mein ghoomta raha, kyunki mere parivaar ko paalne wali main hoon aur ye mujhe gold digger bolta hai,” she said. She explained that the comment stayed with her throughout the night because she is the primary provider for her family.

Ongoing Discussions On The Show:

As discussions around the incident continue on 'Rise and Fall 2', Rakhi's defence has added a fresh layer to the debate. While Priyanka has openly expressed her disappointment over the remark, Rakhi chose to respond with humour, offering support to the actress and challenging the narrative in her own unique style.
