Malaika Arora Refutes Dating Rumors With Sorab Bedi: "It's Irritating Now..."

Malaika Arora has often found herself at the centre of dating speculation and is frequently linked to people she is spotted with in public. Last year, rumours of her dating Harsh Mehta surfaced after the two were seen together at a concert. More recently, a few weeks ago, her pictures with Sorab Bedi once again fuelled speculation about her personal life. Now, Arora has opened up about dealing with constant dating speculation, admitting that the chatter about her personal life has now become irritating. So much so that she now treats it as a joke.

Malaika Arora On Dealing With Dating Rumours:

In a recent conversation with Curly Tales, Malaika opened up about dealing with constant link-up rumours. “It's irritating now. I just treat it as a joke." She further said that she and her son, Arhaan Khan have learned to laugh it off. “Arhaan and I have a good laugh about a lot of these things," she said.

Malaika was previously married to Arbaaz Khan for 19 years before they got divorced in 2017. Later, she was in a relationship with Arjun Kapoor; however, they parted ways in 2024. Malaika said that she doesn't feel the need to actively seek companionship and that it will happen when it has to. “I can't plan these things. If it has to happen, it will happen. Right now, I'm so happy exploring all of this that's going on in my life, and I'm… to be able to build things from scratch is keeping me going. That's what's really motivating me, and I think yes, of course, companionship, a partner, all that is… it's wonderful," she said.

She added that while having a partner is great, it isn't a necessity for her, and that if she has to be in a relationship, she will do it entirely on her own terms. “If I have to be with somebody, I'll do it on my own terms," she said.

Last year, a video of Malaika Arora attending a concert in Mumbai surfaced on social media, showing her interacting with a mystery man. The clip quickly stirred up gossip, fuelling rumours about her alleged new relationship. Some Instagram accounts went on to claim that the man is Harsh Mehta, a 33-year-old diamond merchant. In February, an unseen photo of Malaika with a man went viral on social media sites, especially Reddit, and netizens wondered if the Bollywood diva spent Valentine's Day in Italy with him.
