Deepak Chahar Calls Out Kunickaa Sadanand For Calling Malti Chahar 'Lesbian'

Cricketer Deepak Chahar entered the 'Bigg Boss 19' house during family week. He has addressed a controversy that had been brewing outside. The fast bowler, who is the brother of contestant Malti Chahar, confronted Kunickaa Sadanand for calling Malti a “lesbian" during a conversation with Tanya Mittal on national television.

Deepak Chahar Slams Kunikaa Sadanand:

Inside the dining area, with housemates gathered around, Deepak firmly stated that the remark was inappropriate and irresponsible for a platform of this scale. “Aapne agar kisi ko lesbian bola ya gay bol diya, toh ye bahot bada platform hai. Main ye nahi kahunga ke aap galat bol rahe ho ya jhooth bol rahe ho… aapne ye bola tha ke main 100 per cent sure hoon ke woh lesbian hai. Ye bohot galat baat hai," he said, making it clear that such assumptions could damage someone's public image.

Malti, who had been unaware of Kunickaa's comment until that moment, was visibly shaken. She revealed that when Kunickaa's son Ayaan Lall had visited the house during family week, he had apologised to her, but she did not know the reason behind it. The revelation left her upset, as she had not been informed about the remark that had triggered the apology.

"No one Has the Right to Label Someone..."

Deepak further clarified that his intention was not to create a fight inside the house. Instead, he emphasized the seriousness of labeling someone's sexuality without consent. “All I want to say… ye married toh hai nahi. Agar married nahi hai koi, aur agar aap uske baare mein bol do toh… iss show ke baad logon ke dimaag mein image baith jaaye woh," he said. 

He highlighted that while many individuals today openly express their sexual orientation and India is progressing toward acceptance, no one has the right to label someone else, whether in Bigg Boss or outside it.

Kunickaa Sadanand Has Apologised:

Following the confrontation, Kunickaa apologised to both Malti and Deepak. She insisted she was not homophobic and claimed her best friend is a lesbian, adding that her remark stemmed from concern about potential memes and online trolling. Malti, however, interrupted to clarify that she is not a lesbian and requested Kunickaa to stop repeating the word unnecessarily.

The family week on 'Bigg Boss 19' has seen several relatives enter the house, including Tanya's brother, Ashnoor's father, Amaal Mallik's brother Armaan, Shehbaz's father, Farrhana Bhatt's mother, Gaurav Khanna's wife Akanksha Chamola, Kunickaa's son Ayaan Lall, and Pranit More's brother Prayag. Deepak Chahar's appearance, however, has sparked one of the season's strongest reactions and conversations around boundaries, labels, and respect.
