When Your Relationship Identity Eats Your Whole Personality

Vagmita talked about a friend who made her whole life about her relationship. she would only remember her friends when she had a fight with her boyfriend and felt like ranting about it. She didn't have any hobbies or interests outside of the relationship. Over time, her friends stopped answering her calls. Why? Because all she talked about was her boyfriend and the fights.

Don't Be the Purse, Be the Person

Relationships are nice, but they shouldn't be the only thing you have. Building your own universe is also crucial. Have activities, friends, and ambitions that are not connected to your partner. This allows you to remain strong and happy even after your relationship ends.

Keep a World That's Yours

If your partner leaves, your world should not fall apart. That's why it's important to have other parts of your life, your own world. If things go wrong in your relationship, that world will be there to support you. As Vagmita says, “This world will come and rescue you.”
