  • 2 cups maida
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ¾ cup ghee
  • ¾ cup 7 Up
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup + 2 tbsp curd
  • ¾ cup milk powder

How To Make Ghee Cake

Step 1: Make The Batter

  • Add ghee, powdered sugar, and milk powder to a bowl.
  • Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the curd and mix again.

Step 2: Add Dry Ingredients

  • Sift maida, baking powder, and baking soda into the bowl.
  • Add 7 Up and vanilla essence.
  • Gently mix everything into a smooth batter. Do not overmix.

Step 3: Prepare The Cake Tin

  • Grease a cake tin with ghee.
  • Dust some maida on it.
  • Pour the batter into the tin.

Step 4: Bake The Cake

  • Preheat a cooker with salt at the bottom on low flame.
  • Remove the whistle and gasket.
  • Place the cake tin inside carefully.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes on low to medium flame.

Step 5: Cool And Serve

  • Check the cake with a skewer. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
  • Let the cake cool for one hour before cutting.
