Manushi Chhillar was Crowned Miss World in 2017, more than just a beauty queen, she is a dynamic force with a blend of intellect, compassion, and ambition. After winning the title of Miss World she captured global attention with her project on menstrual health awareness ‘Beauty with a Purpose' which changed lives across rural India.

1. Academically Smart

Manushi was born in Haryana and displayed her academic brilliance from an early age. She scored a near-perfect 96% in the Class 12 board exam, and not just that but she also excelled in extracurricular activities.

2. Medical Background

Prior to her Miss World journey, she was a medical student at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonipat, Haryana. She aspired to be a doctor, specializing in cardiothoracic surgery and was determined to pursue her medical career along with pageantry.

Apart from her medical career, she has a creative side. She enjoys writing and listening to poetry, which she feels is a way for her to express her inner thoughts and emotions.

Manushi is a trained classical dancer. She studied Kuchipudi, a traditional Indian dance form, under legendary dancers Raja and Radha Reddy. She loves dancing and wants to promote Indian culture and traditions through dance.

Her medical background helps her understand the situation of menstrual health better that's why she works to create awareness of that. She won the ‘Beauty with a Purpose' project during the Miss World Pageant which was centered around menstrual health hygiene. She went to several villages in India and spread awareness about menstrual health and broke the stigma about it.

6. Debut in Bollywood

She recently made her debut in the Bollywood film ‘Samrat Prithviraj' alongside Akshay Kumar in 2022. Her journey from pageantry to Bollywood is remarkable.
