Honestly, it's the energy. The idea of being surrounded by global talent, creativity, fashion, and just being part of a space that celebrates it all on such a grand scale. And personally, it's a pinch-me moment because it's not just about showing up—it's about showing up as me. As a creator and an entrepreneur who launched her own beauty brand this year… that's what makes it extra special.

How do you prepare for the red carpet at Cannes? Any special rituals or routines?

Oh yes! This time, I actually created a whole 31-day self-growth challenge—#30WithNK—to prepare from the inside out. It wasn't just about physical prep but getting into a strong mindset, eating clean, working out, journaling, and aligning my energy. It became my way of mentally gearing up for a moment this big.

Which designers or fashion houses are you most looking forward to seeing on the Cannes red carpet?

I'm always excited to see what Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad bring—they beautifully understand elegance and drama. I also love how newer voices in fashion are stepping up and redefining red carpet looks. Honestly, it's the unexpected that ends up being most inspiring.

Have you chosen your outfit for Cannes yet? Can you give us a hint about what you'll be wearing?

Let's just say… I'm not playing it safe this time. I wanted a look that felt bold, expressive, and a little unexpected. I've collaborated closely with my stylist Dolla (@dollaypop) to create something that reflects where I am in my journey right now—confident, feminine, and building my own lane.

What's your go-to beauty secret for achieving that perfect Cannes glow?

Skin prep is key! I've been using my Alt K tinted serum a lot—it gives just the right amount of coverage with a natural finish. That, along with hydration, ice facials, and keeping the base minimal but radiant. And honestly, feeling good on the inside is the best glow-up trick.

How do you balance glamour and comfort when walking the red carpet at Cannes?

It's definitely a dance. The glamour is non-negotiable—it's Cannes after all! But I've learned that confidence comes from comfort. So, whether it's wearing heels, I can actually walk in or choose silhouettes that let me breathe. I'm very mindful of feeling good about what I'm wearing.

Are there any fashion trends or themes you're particularly drawn to this year's Cannes?

I'm loving the return of ultra-feminine drama—think big trains, soft metallics, exaggerated silhouettes. But I'm also drawn to personal storytelling through fashion, where your outfit isn't just beautiful, but means something. That's the kind of vibe I wanted to bring this year, too.
